Weekly Update - October 21st

News of the Week - October 21st-25th

Good evening Champion families. This is Mr. Bridges with a look at the week ahead!

First, we would like to thank Mrs. Mineau, our PAL Champions, staff, and all our OPA families who donated costumes and candy to the “PAL Halloween and Candy Drive” to support Grandma’s House of Hope.  Almost 400 costumes and 100 bags of candy were donated! The volunteers at Grandma's House of Hope were beyond grateful.

Our 6th graders returned from Arrowhead Science Camp on Friday.  It was a memorable week for all participants. Thank you to Mrs. Lynch, Ms. Carnovale, and Mr. Rechtein for chaperoning our Champions during their week away.

Additionally, our Champions have raised over $10,000 for our upcoming OPA-SV Honour Society’s Rainbow Run!  The $10,000 Schoolwide Prize is a Kona Ice Truck! Thank you parents/guardians for supporting this exciting event!

This week our campus will be Celebrating Red Ribbon Week.  Red Ribbon Week is part of an annual national event that is a major force for raising awareness in the fight against drugs. This week's dress/outfit themes are listed below. PLEASE SEE THE PDF FILE BELOW FOR THE RED RIBBON WEEK FLYER
