News of the Week - March 2nd!

Good evening Champion families.  This is Mr. Bridges and Mrs. Merlette with some important reminders and a look at the week ahead.

Open Enrollment for the 2020-21 school year is happening now and this is the time to share the amazing OPA program with our community!  We need your help to spread the word about how great OPA is. Please volunteer to distribute our OPA enrollment flyer to nearby areas.

Please click on the sign up genius below if you are able to help!  After you sign up, please come by the front office to collect your destination list and the enrollment flyers. Thank you very much for your help!

OPA-SV’s International Day will be on Friday, April 3rd from 8:30am -12:30am.  This is one of the opportunities we give our Champions to learn about openness and acceptance of diversity. It also enables them to feel comfortable and confident in their ability to understand a multicultural world.  On this day we will have food-tasting booths from all around the world for our Champions to try. Additionally, Champions will learn more about other cultures and traditions.

The success of this event relies heavily on parent/guardian volunteers.  If you would like to volunteer and be a part of the International Day Planning Committee please attend the International Day Planning Committee Meeting - Monday, March 9th at 4:45pm-5:30pm in Honour Hall.  If you have any questions please contact Chancellor Bridges or Dean Merlette.
