It has been a wonderful week at OPA. We had a very productive LCAP Advisory Meeting on Thursday night, where stakeholders shared feedback and ideas regarding our school goals and achievement data. It is so exciting to see everyone involved in planning for an incredible future for our OPA schools.

This afternoon the Board of Directors announced its decision to offer Dr. Amy Kernan the position of Executive Director. Over the past two months, OPA families and staff participated in a rigorous process to select the most qualified candidate for this position.

This month is a time for all of us to recognize the incredible accomplishments women have made throughout history and the need for us to continue to push our young women champions to strive for greatness and support each other to fulfill their dreams. I hope that you all had a wonderful week. We are heading in to spring, which is a very busy time at OPA! With COVID-19 numbers continuing to go down and more people getting vaccinated, we are very hopeful to be able to bring some normalcy and more OPA traditions back to our OPA community soon!
