News of the Week - March 9th - 13th, 2020

Good evening Champion families.  This is Mr. Bridges and Mrs. Merlette with some important reminders and a look at the week ahead.

OPA-SV’s International Day will be on Friday, April 3rd from 8:30am -12:30pm.  This is one of the opportunities we give our Champions to learn about openness and acceptance of diversity. It also enables them to feel comfortable and confident in their ability to understand a multicultural world.  On this day we will have food-tasting booths from all around the world for our Champions to try. Additionally, Champions will learn more about other cultures and traditions.

The success of this event relies heavily on parent/guardian volunteers.  If you would like to learn more about this special day, please join us at the International Day Informational Meeting this Monday, March 9th at 4:45pm-5:30pm in Honour Hall.  If you have any questions please contact Chancellor Bridges or Dean Merlette.
